The above is a link to my first document that I used to prepare for this project. It is a pdf file that is the Holga user Manual. From what I have read I can say that it is a really good guide for some one who has heard of the holga but has never really used one.

Writing Style: The way the guide is written it so give the user a laid back feel to the camera as in it is not written to be overly technical and doesn’t explain much on the technical side of photography and the design of the camera. (With that said that Holga was to be a simple camera with just the bare essentials needed to create a usable image). The author uses humor as to show that holga photography though simple is still very fun.

Design: The document is designed pretty well with an introduction through a photo gallery in the end of the document. The user is introduced to the camera and then is given a simple history of the camera followed by camera specifications and a summery of the features. The manual also covers how to load film and a few ways to modify the holga.

Usability –If You want to learn about the overall how to use the holga then this is a good guide for you. Unfortunately if you have never used a holga then after reading this guide not everything will be as clear as you think. A lot of the holga use is trial and error.

This is a good site to really get the history of the holga and whats new in the holga world. Another good site for someone looking to get into the holga world. The site does not provide any information to modify the holga beause they want you to buy a book that they are selling. The book is very detailed and contians alot of information to not only modify the camera but to also enhance your creativity.
